I must be missing something here. $1850 for an average looking apartment in Bloomingdale? Seems at least a couple hundred bucks overpriced.
Agreed. $1200-1450 max given the condition of the unit and location. Could be a cute place though. What’s up with the filled in fireplace or whatever that is?

Seems unbelievably expensive for a 1 br in this neighborhood. I know people in the Logan Circle area paying less than this for 1 br in nicer, new buildings. Seems 100% not worth it.
Is the “private back entrance” the _only_ entrance?
i live in the house above that apartment. pleasant place, way overpriced.
@joe – not really an alley. that opens into a parking lot for a church. however, this week there was a break-in and a stolen vehicle. ah well.

You had a realtor last week trying to pitch a house in Bloomingdale as LeDroit Park, but you got it right. This time, though, this is LeDroit.
I don’t care how nice it is. I’m not paying $1850 to live in Bloomingdale.
this is my old apartment!!! i lived there 2 years ago. It IS overpriced at 1850… 2 years ago we paid 1400 a month, which was very reasonable with 2 incomes. it is a great apartment though… i miss that place. the alley is not scary, it goes to a church, and the back entrance is the only one. baseboard heaters DO suck, but it looks like the landlord put in a new kitchen floor and maybe central a/c because the window units are gone… it is very big!
