    our roses are blooming like crazy too… climate change? or is this typical? it’s my first time with knockout roses.

    There are blocks of them blooming in the median on 16th Street. Roses can and do bloom year-round here, but if there is a very cold snap they stop for the winter. Same with pansies – just look at the landscaped tree boxes downtown.

    As soon as the weather cooled off, my roses went nuts. The David Austins have few leaves but a respectable number of flowers that smell divine, and the minis have exploded into bloom. I love it. I bet your knockouts will bloom until it snows!
