  • our roses are blooming like crazy too… climate change? or is this typical? it’s my first time with knockout roses.

  • There are blocks of them blooming in the median on 16th Street. Roses can and do bloom year-round here, but if there is a very cold snap they stop for the winter. Same with pansies – just look at the landscaped tree boxes downtown.

As soon as the weather cooled off, my roses went nuts. The David Austins have few leaves but a respectable number of flowers that smell divine, and the minis have exploded into bloom. I love it. I bet your knockouts will bloom until it snows!
