It is definitely the best one in the city and the pictures don’t do it justice. I really think it looks stunning every night when I am walking home. I’ve tried to photograph it too and it just doesn’t come out as spectacular as it looks in person.
Whoa, is this a violation of the height act???? I hope they obtained the necessary HPRB approval. Think of all the poor neighbors having to live under the shadows of this. The Committee of 100 will hear about this!

In all seriousness, there is no height limit for uninhabited structures.
Does anyone know if this is still used as a radio transmitter?

Right! Because the original purpose of the Height Act was fire safety, not “viewsheds”.

Yup, I love walking home from the metro station and seeing it. It’s an awesome addition to the city. It reminds me of the Star Trek insignia, lol.
And yes, it’s impossible to photograph properly. You can’t properly capture the vibrant colors or the scale.
Back when this was the WUST Music Hall, it was ALWAYS lit up.
Yes! I love seeing it in the sky when I get home at night. Thanks, 930!
The best!
