772 5th Street, NW
Back in September we learned that Absolute Noodle would be coming to the former Quiznos space at 772 5th Street, NW. I spoke with some of the workers on Saturday and it looks like they’ll be opening up in 2-3 more weeks. They’ve also applied for a liquor license that says:
“Full Thai Noodle Menu. Total Occupancy Load is 49.”
Have a look at the menu after the jump.

I miss hearing the wild cats...
An Asian place? In Chinablock? Good luck with that, crazy people.
Hopefully they’re better than Noodles & Company, the pad thai there is like spaghetti with puke sauce on it…
Bulgogi sounds interesting, Not too many good bulgogi spots in DC…
You’re kidding, right? Seems like every other Korean run carryout serves bulgogi. There’s at least 3 bulgogi carts that I know of and one food truck. It’s turning into the new tapas, which I have no problem with.

I’m constantly amazed by the vast expansion by Noodles & Company in the DC area. Their food is consistently bland and boring.
It’s the Asian food version of Cosi and ABP.
I prefer my baby back ribs accidentally braised, thank you very much.
I like mine grilled with negligence and gross indifference.
Absolute Thai is pretty solid so this should also be good. Given the small space it looks like they are focusing on carryout options. I’ll probably end up going here at least once a week.
this menu looks like absolute pizza kabab’s ” build your own pasta ” ?
