“Bert on Thanksgiving – after his can of turky bits and gravy! We live in Mt. Pleasant”

“These are my birds Fred and Ethel. Fred is the blue one, Ethel is the yellow one.”

“Littles
Adams Morgan”

Fred and Ethel are both females! I wonder if they are angry parakeets.
Nope…Fred’s a male. Though he is not a baby, his cere actually changes colors….but it is most often blue. Plus, he often tries to hump Ethel!
I did not know that sometimes they change color; mine hasn’t.
from what I’ve read, cere color change is only supposed to happen when they are babies. But he’s far from a baby. I don’t know what it is, but it changes colors seemingly with the seasons. Maybe he’s transgender???
So much cuteness today!
Look at that big kitty belly. Bert looks like he knows what Thanksgiving is all about!
Bert has a fantastically robust belly.
Fred and Ethel are too cute! My parakeet Buddy picks at my teeth…do yours?
Fred’s in his prime so he’s all over the place and he picks at just about anything. Ethel is a little older and has “been there, done that” so she just kind of sits back and lets him expend all his energy. They’re both a blast to have around.
does the last cat have stretch marks? weird
SOLAR IS COOL!
