2300 for a one bedroom in AM? that seems about 200 too high. thats pricing for a one bedroom closer to metro. (yeah yeah, all the AM folks like to tell me that walk to Woodly Park is so close).
Only a rich fool would pay that much.
And there’s no shortage of those these days, so it’s probably already gone.
Actually is not a long walk to the red line, and this is a great street. Seems about right for a recently remodeled one bedroom in that area.
I never comment on these types of posts (GDON), but…2300 for a place with window units and a laundry room instead of in unit washer and dryer? Right. I know 2300 for a one bedroom is not unheard of around here, but I pay that and at least have central air and don’t have to share washers and dryers in some dank basement.
Agreed. I pay just under that for a full service building closer to Woodley metro, with central air and w/d in unit, plus a garage space. Way overpriced.
Seems about right for this neighborhood, especially if that price includes utilities. That’s a really nice street, well kept building, new fancy kitchen and bath. I wonder that the square footage is? Sure you could a cheaper one bedroom in this area without all the granite and SS appliances. Also, I don’t think having the laundry room in the basement in a rental unit is a big drawback, most rentals I’ve looked at don’t have their own W/D.
It’s not too far from the red line, and really close to all the bus lines at 18th & Columbia.
Eh, pass. Maybe if it did include utilties, and maybe if it didn’t have a window AC, and maybe if it had a W/D. But none of those factors? Seems to be at least 200 too high.
Radiators! Gas oven! It’s kinda perfect for me. Too bad i can’t afford that. sigh…Also i’m one of those people who prefers a laundry room with multiple giant machines to built in W/D.
It is $200 too high, but that’s the parking spot. You could rent it out. And who needs metro with all those bus lines near by.
You can find much better deal on similar places in this area.
I rent my place on Biltmore St out for about $1800. It has back patio, fireplace. I think I am a bit low, but $2300 sounds a bit high too.
Can someone explain what “on site Street parking” is?
I think they omitted a period. As in “laundry on site. street parking.” It does not come with a parking spot (or if it does, they need to edit the ad to make that clear).
Thanks, makes total sense now. I’m surprised I missed that.
Now it’s *really* overpriced!
Why would you cite “street parking,” as if that were a virtue, especially given this neighborhood.
