The Million Puppet March came through town on Saturday:
“We believe in public media. We believe that a strong public broadcasting system builds a stronger nation. And we believe that it is essential to provide adequate federal funding to our public broadcasters.”
Here’s some great shots from PoPville photogs.

^yes. The only danger at this location is being run over by a motorist from Maryland.
Faison's writeups make me crazy. And not in a good "I'm crazy for buying this house!" way.
The Dancing Crab's commercials have to be the worst I've ever seen. The owners saying,...
God you people are boring. Why not more chatter about their footwears?
Cheesy and cheap. Something you'd expect the Montgomery, Al. Convention's Bureau to run...
Vaguely related: I wonder if my mother is still pissed at Jim Henson for cashing in his chips.
An Omama puppet? That’s racist!
Million Puppet March? Million, it was more like Hundred person march.
It seemed to have been thrown together hastily and not advertised enough. I live three blocks away from the starting point and would have loved to have joined in. But I didn’t find out about it until a couple days before and already had other plans. Looks fun though and these are some great pictures!
News estimates are about 1,000 people. Still, looks like it was one of the most fun protest marches ever.
Did any of the Feebles attend?
