Homicide at 4th and V St, NE Last Night
From MPD:
At about 9:30 pm Wednesday, October 31, police were called to the area near 4th and V Sts., NE, for the sounds of gunshots.
At the corner at corner of 4th and V, they found an adult male who had been shot.
The man was dead at the scene and homicide and 5D detectives are working on the case.
We ask that anyone who may have heard or seen anything, or who may have any information at all, call our Command Center at 727-9099.

I 100% agree with you. I have yet to find any BBQ in DC that meets my Eastern NC...
That was right down the street from us. Pretty gruesome and rattling in our little neighborhood.
So sad. There are increasingly fewer pockets of crime in DC, but this area has yes to get cleaned up. There needs to be an even greater police presence here.

I live in that neighborhood and notice helicopters with searchlights flying over that specific pocket pretty frequently. I guess this explain’s last night’s action. Too bad.
