I had a Yorkie and it pains me to recall thoughts of when my see you next Tuesday gf left...
I hope your prayers are answered.
Our thoughts are with you.

Gathering in one place to show respect for those who served their country is thoughtful....
Why do realtors post multiple photos of one room from every possible angle and absolutely none of the bedroom or bathroom?
I think “1 br penthouse loft” might be a realtor euphemism for “studio with high ceilings.”
This seems high. I don’t think 1BRs here go for this much. Given that it is the “Penthouse” with 5 windows… Sigh, I would say it is probably like $2250.
Something is not right. It is listed as a 1bed/1bath. Unless there is another level, I think what this is would technically be a studio or an efficiency (technically there is a difference so I think it would be a studio and not an efficiency. Can’t remember now which is which. Anyway, I don’t think legally it can be a 1 bedroom since there is no real door or closet in the “room.” I’ll give the realtor the benefit of the doubt by saying there is a window, though can’t tell for sure from these photos. If that’s the caes, that makes the monthly rent even more absurd. It’s a pretty street in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, the space is not as per the tedium usual, which is nice, but the modern euro look has to appeal to a potential renter, which I think it easily could. The high ceilings are nice and some will like the odd angles while others would say that is a negative. Seems high for what you really get.
Agreed, it really does seem high. I think they can get the requested rent with enough patience though… it’s a beautiful apartment.
