Taylor Gourmet Opening in Former Meatballs Space in Penn Quarter

City Paper’s Jessica Sidman shares the news that the former Meatballs space which closed in July at at 624 E St, NW will become a Taylor Gourmet. Taylor’s opened their most recent location at 19th and M St, NW in July 2012. You can see their other locations here.

I love meatballs, but that meat BALLS place was a big mistake. Problem #1? Making it look like your restaurant is called BALLS unless you’re right up against the window.
I drive by that place every work day, they put giant BALLS on the window.
Those this mean the one planned for Rhode Island Ave NE isn’t happening? Or are they still doing both?
If I remember correctly, the last article I saw on this since they have a growth plan, and RI Avenue isn’t on the list until late 2013 or 2014.
