And with the sewage overflows into Rock Creek (which happens when the sewers are maxed out in heavy rain), S#!t Creek is also, technically, correct.
When did they reopen the Parkway? I drove on it this morning and it seemed to be surprisingly unharmed by the water. If it did sustain any damage, the Park Service did a much better job of cleaning it up than they did the last time it was under water.
