Red Apron Butchery Applies for Liquor License in Penn Quarter

Sweet! I originally thought Red Apron Butchery was gonna be more of a take out sorta place but this sounds much more substantial.
The liquor license application application says:
“New restaurant serving American cuisine, specializing in fine meats. Total Occupancy Load is 160, with 110 seats.”
Opening “early 2013″.

I dont think you can make the money work without being a restaurant that serves alcohol. Too bad. Really want a good retail butcher shop in central DC.
