I have been working with Polyface Farm for turkey this Thanksgiving. The issue is that if I don’t reserve mine soon, they won’t have any for us. With it being our first year, its hard to gauge exactly what the demand will be. We are offering them three ways at different prices:
previously frozen (thawed by us) – $5 per pound
brined – $7.50 per pound
Brined and smoked over hickory wood – $10
We have options for several different sizes ranging from 10 pound to 20+, but the sooner customers reserve the better. There truly is a limited supply.
On a side note, we will also be doing fixins like stuffing, whipped potatoes, and the other usual suspects.
