If Sort is your thing, this place has no equal.
Not sure if it’s just the pictures but this place seems tiny.
got this post confused with the homicide post PoP just posted an hour ago. looks like it occurred 5 blocks away.
anyway, the house looks great. so long as you don’t mind some homicides every now and again.
hah never mind NE not NW.
There was also the one at 5th and Florida NW earlier this year, so you’re still right.
The kitchen’s in the running for Most Awkward Layout Ever (Tiny division).
where 1/2 of your square footage comes in the form of hallways and awkward enclaves. yay.
Enclaves?
I guess if you don’t mind the housing across the street, but everyday when I ride by there are large groups of young men rolling dice and smoking weed so I’d pass.
For $45K less, I’d choose this one instead:

More windows and I’m guessing more light (but on a louder street and a little further to Metro I admit).
@15thstnw A stone’s throw away from Sursum Corda. No thanks. Somebody got killed a few blocks from there in broad daylight.
Not a good deal, unless you love constant police/ambulance lights & sirens. The public housing complex on the other side of R st. has non-stop drama occuring. I should know, I lived 5 doors down from this unit from 2008-2010. Eventually, for my sanity, I had to move. There are some great neighbors on that block, but the drug trade going on back in the apts. across the street started to get too close to home. I realized this when I had a knock on my door in the middle of the night from MPD wanting to know if I had seen anything… twice. Yeah, I know, I know. There may not have been a homicide on the block or immedately adjacent recently, but there’s always someone calling the police or an ambulance for *something*.
