Embers Grill opens today near Georgetown Law School and Irish Times at 80 F St, NW. The menu was still being finalized when I stopped by but there will be lots of grill items, naturally, plus falafel and other interesting lunch options. They’ll be open Mon. – Sat. 7am to 5pm.

Decided to try the new spot, Embers, for lunch today. Chickpeas and rice were on point – the falafel? – not so much. It was overcooked and bland, however, I’m open to trying other items on the menu. We’ll see . . .
Tried the new spot (Embers) today. They are pretty slow in getting orders out, perhaps this will improve over time. Steak and cheese was okay. Fries were great!
