Zoning Hearing Scheduled for ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen Coming to Georgetown

2805 M Street, NW

Furin’s of Georgetown closed after 27 years in July 2011. Chipotle’s ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen will be moving into the space assuming their upcoming zoning hearing goes well. ShopHouse’s first location opened in back in Sept. 2011 at 1516 Connecticut Ave, NW in Dupont. You can see their menu here.

  • I was excited to go to the Dupont location when it opened, and I was sadly disappointed. The noodles were mushy and the curry sauce was underwhelming. It’s a great concept though….if Roti can work, why not this place?

I like Shophouse, but they changed their steak at some point. It was nice quality before, now it’s meh. The tofu is decent though.

Unless they reinstate the banh mi, I don’t care.
