We’re using the term “mouse” euphemistically here, right? Our cats have also brought “mice” in and then decided their part of the job was done. Some dramatic mornings …

How does Kali’s story end? Did she figure out what to do with the mouse? Or did you have to send her friend home at the end of the play date?
Can’t really tell from those pictures, but I’m wondering if that mouse was actually a mole? Something about the shape.

Why all the mouse hate? Kali clearly has shown us a better way to act towards our fuzzy little brethren (assuming mickey doesn’t have the hantavirus).

Oh Kali! It must be a torty thing. My cat killed baby rats on two occassions. One night I woke up thinking she was playing with her toy mouse like crazy in my bed as usual. Nope, she was just playing with the dead baby rat
horrified.
I’ll just give up sleep now. OH MY GOD THAT IS HORRIFYING!!
