If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

“Stella (Chinatown) in front of the Capitol”

“It’s a real mouse that kali brought in, and didn’t know what to do with. It’s a funny series of photos I took, but these take the cheese!
”

“Both dogs are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Fido is a Black and Tan and he’s 4 months old; Lola is a Ruby and she is 3.5 years old. From Columbia Heights.”

Question to residents - thank you in advance. I am considering purchasing a 1st level...
Thank you for this, I had no idea about this type of thing. It also makes me think that...
Disgusting.
It'll take a while. After I moved a block down the road, a friend called me a week before...
*unfriend*
Holy mother of terror! How is Kali not flipping out that the rodent is TOUCHING her?? Dear God. I’m going to have nightmares for weeks.
Kali, here’s a saying for you: kill the little mousie and put it in the trash!
Adorable doggies. Stella, what kind of dog are you?
I think my computer just exploded from too much cute.
re: Kali, lol – I don’t think my cat would know what to do with a mouse either, but I suspect he would chase it around just for the thrill. Haha, thanks for sharing!
City mice. Indoors. On a cat that could potentially snuggle your face…
I’m nauseous.
Feeling somewhat similar here.
I don’t understand… the cat brought the mouse indoors but wasn’t interested in doing anything further with it?
Seriously. Bathe that cat immediately and make sure her shots are up to date.
We’re using the term “mouse” euphemistically here, right? Our cats have also brought “mice” in and then decided their part of the job was done. Some dramatic mornings …
What’s “mouse” a euphemism for? “Rat”??
Oh dear God! I didn’t think it could get any worse! Nightmares for years!
Kali is awesome…Meow!
How does Kali’s story end? Did she figure out what to do with the mouse? Or did you have to send her friend home at the end of the play date?
Can’t really tell from those pictures, but I’m wondering if that mouse was actually a mole? Something about the shape.
Oh, Kali! You must learn this little song:
Love to eat them mousies,
Mousies what I love to eat!
Bite they little heads off.
Nibble on they tiny feet!
Why all the mouse hate? Kali clearly has shown us a better way to act towards our fuzzy little brethren (assuming mickey doesn’t have the hantavirus).
That cat is broken! You need to get a new one.
Oh Kali! It must be a torty thing. My cat killed baby rats on two occassions. One night I woke up thinking she was playing with her toy mouse like crazy in my bed as usual. Nope, she was just playing with the dead baby rat
horrified.
I’ll just give up sleep now. OH MY GOD THAT IS HORRIFYING!!
AGH FIDO AND LOLA!!! This makes me want to visit my dad and his Cavaliers even more than I usually want to!
And beware that if I see you walking around CH with these two pups, I will stop you so I can play with them real quick. Sorry in advance
Who takes pictures of a mouse on a cat? Wowwww!! Do you like mice in your house?
