The Spanish Steps – Looking Good

I first stumbled upon the Spanish Steps back in Nov. 2008. It’s looking even better in the warm weather.
It’s looking even better now with flowers planted along the sides.
Though, sadly the fountain up top wasn’t working. Fortunately the view is pretty sweet:

I see it more as proof that our ANC commish is obstructionist and has a personal agenda....
It was being renovated/upgraded during the summer, so maybe the fountain isn’t ready yet.
I wish the city would do something similar for the steps at Quarry and Lanier, in AdamsMorgan.
I’ll be photographing a couple for their wedding there next month, they’ll be happy to know this..
One of my favorite spots in DC.
