Thally Bistro Coming to 1316 9th Street, NW
1316 9th Street, NW
A couple of weeks ago we learned about a new restaurant coming to 1316 9th St, NW near the convention center and Seasonal Pantry. They’ve applied for a liquor license under the name Thally and it says:
“New Restaurant. A modern, energetic bistro serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Background music will be provided. Sidewalk Cafe with 10 seats. Occupancy Load of 99.”
Looking forward to seeing the menus! Stay tuned.

Yay!!! Welcome!! Great news for our little stretch of 9th with this bistro, A&D, Table, Rogue 24′s bar, and Herringbone all in the works.
Good to hear. It is a narrow sidewalk though, where is the sidewalk cafe going to be?
Don’t know where the sidewalk cafe will be, would be a great opportunity to reclaim two parking spaces in front of the restaurant for cafe seating. 9th Street was turned into a traffic sewer in the 50s or 60s – a half century ago – and this would be a nice first step toward restoring its original footprint as well as its use as a neighborhood street.
