Revel: went to Chez Billy for the first time last night, great to randomly bump into two different friends there, one couple had come all the way up from Adams Morgan for their Anniversary dinner.

My god! They traveled all the way from Adams Morgan to Petworth? I hope you offered them a room for the night or at least recommended a good inn.

What do you mean “all the way” from Adams Morgan. Its 1.5 miles away from Chez Billy. Is going that far for dinner some kind of strange anomaly?
Rave: coffee this morning and national book festival. Also went up in the old post office tower for the very first time despite the fact that pretty much the only view from my office window is that tower. One more thing crossed off my figurative tourist-in-my-own-town list!
Sad day in DC, baby panda died this morning
Rant: The panda cub dying. I’m genuinely upset about this. It seems silly, especially with all the other crap that’s going on in the world, but it is so sad for Mei and the Zoo staff.
Rave: Had lovely weekend with the familly. Especially attending the Nats game yesterday. Beautiful day, great crowd and great game!
Rave: Saw my favorite jazz artist at Bohemian Caverns on Saturday night and he was amazing! Also had a great run through Rock Creek Park on Saturday!
Rant: Nothing to rant about today!
