RANT: Somebody cut off our sunflower saturday night. We have tended the plants for months in our tree box garden on 14th st. Just as the flower was at it’s peak, somebody decided to rip it off. Such a bummer, but I guess not completely unexpected. Bright side is that 2 others were left alone when they bloomed a few weeks ago. Now they are nicely bent over, drying their huge head of seeds for the birds and next summer.
I might be your neighbor if you live on Shepherd St.
If so, those were amazing sun flowers. Both my wife and I admired them when we were in the backyard.
RANT: sick and freaking tired of being a medical student
RAVE: Eating dinner w/ friends soon
RANT: Ridiculously hungover. Gotta remember I’m not 19 anymore.
RAVE: Had lots of fun last night out on U St! Totally worth it. Mostly.
Rave: I got out of work early and was able to take a much needed nap.
Rant: I probably will not be able to sleep tonight.
Rave: The gentleman who stayed with me this morning at the ATM after some skeevy dude tried to sidle up to me. Thank you sir. I dont know what would have happened had you not stayed with me.
Rave: Hot chocolate. Sometimes its the simple things in life. Now If I could just get a brownie…that would cap this day off.

Rave: Last few hours at Upshur Pool today before the end of the season, not crowded, sunny, nice and relaxing way to end the summer.
Revel: Time to fire up the grill for some ribs.
RAVE: I have two of the cutest little sweetheart kids on the planet.
RANT: They are going to get me up way too early tomorrow.
