I've had excellent hanger steak at Ray's The Classics and Franklin's. I need to try...
Wow that sounds amazing! Thanks for idea. Definitely trying this one out when peaches...
I thnk 2 inches is a great thickness for steak! Just sear each side by cooking it about 4...
Depends on what I'm in the mood for. I have a Big Green Egg and I grill and barbecue...
As an alternative the the very fatty ribeye (my favorite!), I've moved to the hanger...
One quibble….this isn’t *that* close to a Metro stop. Van Ness and Friendship Heights are about a mile away. It is close to the M4 (Nebraska Ave), L1 and L2 bus routes, though.
Nice shrubs!
I lived here for three years from 2007-2010. It’s a fantastic little house and the Landlord is amazing. I would love to live here again, but can’t afford the rent now =(. My biggest complaints were the distance to metro (but the walk isn’t bad and it’s incredibly close to bus lines) and the crazy neighbor next door (luckily the Landlord always had our back). The house is also for sale.
I checked this out at the open house yesterday (it’s also for sale or was). It’s very cute and two of the bedrooms are good sized. We’re not quite ready to buy or I would definitely think about putting an offer in. That seems like an okay deal to rent, mostly because it would be difficult to have three adults living there if you were looking for a roommate situation.
