  • Summer 2011 has finally arrived.

  • Where is their outdoor seating? Didn’t they say they couldn’t open without it?

  • Thoughts on Zebra Girl? Five Guys with a different logo and 9 times the staff?

    • My thoughts: Z Burger has veggie burgers, which will appeal to some folks that don’t go to 5 guys. And their fries are more crunchy, rather than greasy, again appealing to different tastes than 5 guys. Other than that, not much different.

  • I will still never enter that z burger; just pray every night for its financial failure… and thats all I have to say about that…

  • Such a beautiful space. I can’t believe its wasted on a fast food place. CH deserves better.

  • I could not agree more pv..Just what DC needs another burger joint. That picture alone looks more like vegas or time square than CH..Oh well.

  • I, for one, welcome our Z-Burger overlords. You’ve never been to that corner if you think no business better. Only creeps, cretins, drunks and proselytizers hang there.

  • Lets not root against them. If we do that, the next place won’t come until Summer 2014, and I think we all know what that means.

  • I wish them luck, because that space is haunted and seems to be cursed.

  • I have gone there twice so far, first of all, the people that used to hang out on the corner there and bother everyone seem to be gone. The place is a little over the top, but if you have been to their other location you will get it. They have way more than 5guys, turkey burger, veggie burger, chicken cheesesteaks and I think the prices are a little lower than 5 guys. they also have those coke machines that have 100 flavors. also it looks like they are going to have an ice cream station, which isnt open up yet, but they were sampling some vanilla and they told me that it is a custard (which i think is what shake shack uses) and the vanilla that i had was probably one of the best I had. and yes they are overstaffed but that should be a good thing. Even though it is another burger place, it will do well and bring more families and kids to something that is clean and affordable.
