604 H Street, NW
Wok n Roll’s Adams Morgan location already has karaoke at 2400 18th Street, NW and now their Chinatown location is looking to get in on the action at 604 H St, NW. They’re also looking to expand the space including adding a summer garden:
“Request to increase Occupancy Load from 99 seats to 150 seats; operate a Summer Garden with 35 Seats; change the Hours of Operation and, add Entertainment Endorsement w/Karaoke.”
Currently they are open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30am – 10:30pm and Friday/Saturday 10:30am – 1am. They would like to increase the hours to: Sunday through Thursday 10:00am – 2:00am and Friday/Saturday 10:00am – 3am. And for the proposed summer garden: Sunday through Thursday 10:30am – 1:30am, Friday/Saturday 10:30am – 2:30am.
You can see their menus here.

Their food is okay — no SushiKo or Fujimar, but much cheaper. They have an excellent happy hour deal with $1 sushi and cheap beer… a nice Capitals pre-game option that doesn’t involve burgers and fries.
Oh, and the guy out front who hands out the menus is always smiling and polite, a good first impression of the place.
I always find it odd that this place is located in arguably one of the most historic houses in the US, and that it’s never become a part of the NPS.
Or at least a Mary Surratt roll!
i don’t understand the popularity of this place. their food is so bland. i love the location and the patio seating in AdMo but i’m really disappointed by WnR’s food.
$1 per piece sushi for happy hour 5 days a week explains the popularity. The quality is average, but it’s more than worth the price.
