  • There is a fridge in the dining room? Either there’s not enough kitchen pictures, or there’s no stove in this 1.4 mil$ house… Also I’d prefer a pool in the back yard instead of that basketball court at this price….

    • I thought the same thing about the pool v. basketball court. I think it’s because I saw the blue reflection in the window and expected a pool.

And, yeah, you’d think there’d be more photos of the kitchen.

    • That basketball court was dumb… That is a huge negative in my book. I honestly think I would just rip the thing out. What a waste.

  • I think the dining room is the room with the little mid-century table in it and that kitchen has the long table in it with the fabric colored chairs. Personally, I didn’t feel like there were enough photos of any of the rooms – it was hard to figure out where the spaces where. One of the reasons those mouse on house tours rock.

    • You’re right…the slideshow tags the blue room with the little table as the dining room, and the yellow room with the long table and the shelves on the walls as the kitchen. From the photos provided, it seems like this house has a strange layout, or maybe it’s just confusingly decorated.

  • I don’t see a picture of this “huge gourmet kitchen”. Am I missing something here.

    • Totally agree with anonymous… why is the refrigerator randomly at the end of the dining room table and why not show pictures that highlight the gourmet kitchen. The listing agent should also consider posting a floor plan.

  • The back reminds me of the back of the recent LA house on This Old House: http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/tv/video/0,,20612680,00.html. It’s almost mirrored in structure…

Also I’ve seen that study/homework row of desks and stools in a lot of new houses, and it looks so uncomfortable and discouraging. I would never want to do homework there.

  • More rich people with bad taste. Yawn.

  • Honestly, this is just a terrible listing. I might can my agent. I know this house because I live near by and I have always been intrigued by it. The front is capable of being photographed much better and leading with the picture from the rear makes you think the house is ugly, which it isn’t. Also agree angles of pictures and too few of them do not showcase this property very well at all. Price is not crazy.

  • Loretta… this is a terrible listing! You are not doing this house justice.

    • No kidding, and she stands to make what, 45k for this piss poor job. I was just looking at the back picture and thinking there may be some great outdoor space for entertaining, not pictured. The house also looks like it has a lot of great balconies – not pictured – and other nice – not pictured – features.

  • And it’s on a busy road. I think the constant traffic of Reno Rd. would get to me after a while.

    • It is really not that busy save rush hour. We aren’t talking Connecticut avenue here.

      • In some respects it’s worse than conn ave, because ppl use it as alternative to conn. ave’s many lights, and speed like crazy. I liived in this hood for 12 years and no matter if i’m walk or driving, i always dread crossing it.
