If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

“This is Holly! She’s a retired research lab beagle relaxing in Columbia Heights for the rest of her days!”

“Tiger watching the Nats game in Petworth.”

“This is Mittens enjoying the nice weather with good friends on her first (escorted) trip outside in Columbia Heights!”

“This is Dizzy (named after Dizzy Gillespie, look at those cheeks!) – the most laid back dude you could ever meet, currently being fostered. He is looking for his forever home! More info here.”

I know cycling has problems, but the crackdown on juicing has gone too far.
All I know is I am tired of seeing every renovation is just a gut job, then a unoriginal...
I love Bacio pizza in Bloomingdale! They don't offer delivery but great neighborhood...
311? I think I found the flower thief. Suspect is helmeted male, hopped up on apple...
I tried their kabob last weekend, it was pretty good and a lot of food for the price....
Mittens you are totes adorbs! I love little black (grey) noses!
Dizzy, I hope you get your forever home soon.
Also, cute dogs.
OMG, Dizzy has a Maru spot on his nose! Too cute…
the pic of Mittens is so cute – it looks like she needs a harness to go start exploring!
These pics are so great…there is something dynamite about the eyes in each one of them. And Dizzy has fabulous cheeks. Hope Dizzy finds a forever home soon.
why does dizzy’s head look 2x too big for his body? cute tho
He should grow into it. No worries there.
Dizzy’s foster mama here – his head really IS that big! He’s full grown, 4+ years old. He got neutered only recently though, so he still looks like a big old Tomcat. Rubbing his head is like rubbing a giant fuzzy softball, solid as a rock!
Mittens looks like a lot of fun!
Oh Holly, I am so glad you are now retired, poor baby. Such a sweet little face on you!
Ahhhhh so adorable! All of them! I wish I could adopt Dizzy, but no pets allowed in my apartment. Also, I am kind of really allergic to cats, but I LOVE them. So sad.
I saw Dizzy at WHS before he went to foster care and he is super cute! I ended up adopting a kitty who looks very much like Mittens. I hope Dizzy finds a forever home soon — Thanks for fostering!
So happy you’ve found a safe and happy home, Holly!
All of the animals are adorable!! One “awwww” after another here!!!
Awww, especially cute selection today!
Dizzy is so cute!! I have enough cats of my own, but I hope else someone adopts him soon!
