One of my favorites from 13th St, NW gets a bit of paint job:

Thankfully the great mustache has remained intact:

I had a Yorkie and it pains me to recall thoughts of when my see you next Tuesday gf left...
I hope your prayers are answered.
Our thoughts are with you.
"Boot camp" groups. My hardcore running friends always complain about them. They clog up...
Gathering in one place to show respect for those who served their country is thoughtful....
So much potential, and although I like the green trim, I find this paint job is underwhelming and the yellow is trying too hard.
I hope this is a work in progress. If not, it looks ridiculous with half being one color and the other half being another color. Get it together. Talk to your neighbors.
It’s actually a duplex, however I agree that it looks odd painted this way.
I like the half-n-half…
What is most disappointing is that at the end of this outrageous display of poor taste they lost their nerve when they got to the face. If the face was half yellow – under the mustache, of course – I could at least respect what they’ve done.
I would have painted the face AND the entire half of the building!
That yellow is ghastly. SunTrust at Dupont Circle put on that color years ago and it’s just hideous…especially as it ages/weathers.
that yellow ruins the entire building.
I hope–fervently–they reconsider.
Is this a mistake? If it’s not, it should be.
Noooooo!! This looks awful, like someone was playing a practical joke.
Can you imagine being the poor owner next to that horrific yellow? Awful.
I love love love this building. And why this was an interesting paint concept, it was terribly executed.
