Form + Function = Fabulous”

The run-down Howard buildings across the street from this new development and along...
Cute pooches and adorable photo-bomb!
I remember when they closed Babes and said they would build this property. Almost ten...
It's a little south of campus, but The Short North is my favorite area of Columbus....
??? Lincoln Memorial Bridge????
Ha! I guessed correctly from the description that this was a Tom Faison listing.
Me too!
“Was that Norman Rockwell strolling his grandchild?”
Nope, that was his child in the stroller! Playing “Dad or Granddad” is one of my favorite things to do on Capitol Hill.
It has a lot of features that I personally hate– open floorplan on the main level, narrow kitchen, basin sink in the bathroom, bedroom staged as a nursery because it’s too small to really be a bedroom– but I think it will go for around asking.
thats not a basin sink — it’s a vessel sink. But I agree with your point and I generally don’t like them. This particular kind already looks a little dated, may circa 2008.
I lived on that block in 2000 – 2001. I kick myself for not buying something then. Of course I didn’t have the money, but anyway. There was the unSafeway, the 17th street gang, the Kentucky Courts crew, a man with pantyhose over his head on my backporch late at night, you name it. But I loved that street!
I agree – love that street! Beautiful trees. I think this will go at asking or slightly above, and quickly.
Fred Astaire with a tool belt?
WTF.
Not sure if this is a good deal or not but feel strongly that this should be the “Fred Astaire sporting a tool belt” Edition.
I like the open living area, but the kitchen looks claustrophobic, and the dining room seems a little lonely in back. The Brick wall in the kitchen would look better if the backsplash hadn’t been tiled. I agree about staging the bedrm as a nursery and the fancy sink will be an annoyance and a piece of kitsch in no time. The bathrooms look small.
Good location and price for a 3 BR (albeit at least one very small). Nice block and well updated. For once, I’m going to have to say “DEAL” and I expect this to settle above asking.
