And for the lack of crime, clean sidewalks, etc. But, if squalor’s your thing…
People take the worst pictures of their properties – we recently became landlords and I hired a photographer (a friend) and she took excellent pictures of my apartment, which made the difference between a few good applications and a lot of good applications.
If you shell out $200, you own the pictures of your unit to use for the future and it’s a business expense. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want your property to look its best, especially if you’re trying to find someone who will pay $1900/mo. If I were renting, it would be a red flag that you skimp on details.
Agreed. I personally love how all the photos are deliberately taken to hide whatever the floor is. Carpet? Wood? Parquet? You don’t know! Take a guess!
Yeah, these pics look like ads for selling the furniture, not the apartment. Zoom out a little! No one cares about the couch or the dresser or the new box of plates on the counter. There are no pics of the closet space or W/D. Plus, there is window A/C. Not worth $1900!
