Flower Power 2012 Walk and Reception:

Florida Avenue Park
Florida Avenue and 1st St NW
Saturday, June 23rd, 2012
4:00pm – 6:30pm | $10.00

It is time to enjoy the warmth and wonderful plants, flowers and colors of our Nation’s Capital. We invite you to be a part of our Bates Area/Truxton Circle neighborhood garden walk and reception on June 23, 2012.

During the neighborhood walk, you will see some of the best gardening in our community and experience the different styles and architecture of our homes. You will be invited to neighbors’ front and back yards to see the great garden each home has to offer.

At the end of the walk, you will vote on your favorite yards and help select the best of each street. Of course, it is summer so a reception will follow. The reception will give you the opportunity to meet new neighbors and catch up with old ones. You can pre-buy your $10 tickets on Paypal (no account required) by using this link.

See all of tonight’s and the week’s events here.  To add your event, click the events tab up top and then click “add an event”.  You can add concerts, museum/gallery exhibits, fundraisers, sporting events, bike rides etc. You can add anything you think will be of interest to PoPville.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
