Roc Bar Coming to 1426 L St, NW Next to Post Pub
1426 L St, NW
Roc Bar is coming to the former Reserve space (which closed back in June 2011) that was located at 1426 L St, NW next to the Post Pub. According to a liquor license application, it will be a:
“New Tavern serving full menu grilled foods, chicken, burgers, and salads with seating for 90 patrons and total occupancy load of 90. Sidewalk café with 24 seats and entertainment endorsement with DJ and dancing.”

It’s all in the key word “serving.” Post Pub staff don’t serve so much as angrily toss in your general direction.
Look, it’s either that or very unique $20 artisanal cocktails where the server asks, “Are you savoring your beverage?”
Post Pub wait staff are the Oakland Raiders of Service.
They always throw deep on first down?
If you had to deal with drunken Washington Post employees all day, you’d act like that too.
How can anyone not love Post Pub’s surly service?
Grilled foods, chicken, burger and salad fight to the death!
