but the vets who died gave you the right to voice your opinion. God Bless them
i'm guessing they put in some good sound buffering windows? fl ave is LOUD.
^yes. The only danger at this location is being run over by a motorist from Maryland.
Faison's writeups make me crazy. And not in a good "I'm crazy for buying this house!" way.
The Dancing Crab's commercials have to be the worst I've ever seen. The owners saying,...
Good, now I know where I won’t be on Saturday.
Wear a raincoat??
Haters gotta hate;
Lovers wanna love.
I don’t even want
None of the above….
I hope R. Kelly is ready for my Trapped-in-the-Closet-inspired interpretive dance moves. Chapters 5-10 are where I really shine.
Do you do Rosie the Nosy Neighbor (with the spatula)
It’s a one-man show, so I do them all. Real spatula and all.. I don’t use a real Beretta though, trying to keep it family-friendly.
Crap, I’m out of town next weekend.
Lock up your 14-year old daughters!
First thing that came to my mind: “I’m gonna piss on you.”
Too bad Chapelle cracked up. That show was awesome. That skit and the race draft will go down as two of my all time favorite comedy bits.
The Race Draft was awesome – I do miss him.
Shoot the J. Shoot it!
“That’s my Ronald–always pissin’ on people.”
I’m happy to say that I can’t name a single song by him (or Jay Z or Kanye West.)
that’s too bad…. some of it is really good. nothing wrong with leaving your comfort zone once in a while, don’t you think?
Agreed…I grew up thinking all country music sounded like Achy-Breaky Heart, until someone told me that if I dug Otis Redding I should check out Hank Williams. Might seem a strange connection, but it made me realize that music other than Soul with a capital S can be soulful….
Although R. Kelly has clear issues, the dude is talented in a totally crazy way. As a writer and producer, and even as a vocalist, he knows how to make a hit. I don’t love his style personally, but sadly his behavior has tarnished any of his musical merits.
Jay-Z and Kanye, while both imperfect in many ways, are absolutely worth listening to. Both have put out really masterful, artistic pieces of hip-hop music, while still being pop accessible.
So if you can’t stand hip-hop, you may have a hard time hearing anything you like in the genre. But if you are open, you should give them a listen. (Jon Brion, the phenomenal rock producer, did a bunch of work on Kanye’s second album, so that could be a place to start. Jay-Z’s unplugged with The Roots band is also worth checking out for those who think hip-hop is “unmusical.”)
Yeah, I’m just not into hip hop (but I do love funk.) I have actually heard one Kanye song, the “Gay Fish” one from South Park.
Hide your kids, hide your wife
Dog on the prowl
i’m totally dating myself, but when i was ~16 (so this is 18 years ago), i had a run-in w mr. kelly. i was playing pickup basketball at a small park in miami, and he showed up with his entourage, including a lady friend. i forget what we were talking about (probably basketball), but i definitely remember him winking at me during the game. It was weird.
What, to shop?
Hey, if it helps keep the bookstore open, I am all for it.
REAL TALK! And watch ya mouth! Definitely having him sign a bottle of Patron Gold for me.
Is he only signing copies of his book, or will he sign anything? I could use his John Hancock on my copy of “Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story.”
despite his personal life, he is definitely a talented and creative composer and singer. Give him the credit for his musical skills. He who is without sin, cast the first stone. What hidden sin do you own??
In-store golden showers and underage pissings.
