I had a Yorkie and it pains me to recall thoughts of when my see you next Tuesday gf left...
I hope your prayers are answered.
Our thoughts are with you.
"Boot camp" groups. My hardcore running friends always complain about them. They clog up...
Gathering in one place to show respect for those who served their country is thoughtful....
I just love how the listing mentions two neighborhoods, neither of which the house is actually in.
I am so tired of realtors calling this area Columbia Heights. I don’t care what the DC tax subdivison map says, those are irrelevant! this house is in Parkview. Or if somethign is 1.5 blocks from a metro station, then its in that metro stations neighbhorhood. ie Petworth. Whats funny to me is that I moved to Columbia Heights pre-Target and trust me, no realtor used that neigbhorhood name as a selling point. I am happily living in parkview now.
Is the map wrong? What neighborhood is this?
It’s in Park View.
Columbia Heights is the “legal subdivision” as far as the D.C. government is concerned.
The neighborhood is actually Park View, but 1) Petworth has more name recognition and 2) a lot of people think — erroneously — that this part of Park View is part of Petworth.
It looks like the only way to wash your hands in that bathroom is by sitting on the toilet.
I thought that was an innovative urinal.
The houses on that block don’t have yards, FYI.
They definitely have front yards.
That is Park View / Columbia Heights. Columbia Heights goes to the iron gate on Park Place, but Petworth is very close to that house so thats why they probably put that. The house looks bigger from the outside, but the flier says on 1500 square feet.
“park view” neighborhood nazis have to be the most miserable people on earth
Agreed. I don’t care what neighborhood people say my house is in. “DC” is good enough for me. But even if they get that wrong, I don’t care.
I, for one, can understand why someone might get upset when a realtor misrepresents the location of a property in order to charge a higher price.
Erroneous neighborhood aside, I actually think this isn’t a bad deal. The fact that it’s only 1.5 baths for 3 bedrooms isn’t great, but with parking x2 this would be a good price for 3 roommates.
