Ellen Richardson, a graphic designer and Pleasant Plains resident, recently took her Craigslist hunting skills to the next level with the launch of her blog, Listed District. Listed District offers daily DC Craigslist findings of everything from Mid-Century and Industrial furniture, to bikes and the utterly strange. Every week Ellen is going to share a roundup of some Phenomenal Finds with PoPville.

“Beauty without expression is boring.”

Today’s round-up features a lovely gathering of fairly unrelated items. Not having a theme to write about makes this a little harder, so let’s try something new…shall we? No sappy write-up today, just some interesting tidbits (and more CL items!) to pair with each item…here goes:
$40 – Tangerine Tango High Gloss West Elm Side Table
High-gloss furniture is everywhere nowadays and, if you visit Listed District fairly often, you know I have a soft spot for Tangerine Tango. I would love to see this stool paired with the the fabric design of Brie Harrison. Her work features lamp shades, upholstery, cushions and more.
Continues after the jump.

This industrial classic goes with, in my opinion, pretty much everything. Pair it with a tanker desk and some vintage gas station lights.

$180 – MCM Cream Vinyl Chair
Swank. Put this clean, atomic wonder in your minimalist modern room or slap it in the face with a vintage rug from Kazakhstan.

$180 – 1950′s Dinette Table
Put this sunny table in your Adams Morgan walkup, pair with the lovely illustration work of Sara Burwash.

$225 (obo) – MCM Desk
‘OBO’ is one my favorite CL search-words! Sit down with a solid MCM chair and a funky avocado lamp.

$350 – Paul McCobb Round Walnut Coffee Table
I can see this with a vintage ikat pattern couch and walnut open bookshelves.
