I noticed the application signs were down last night and I was afraid it had fallen through.
I live right there and I’m glad there will be more people around at all hours. Sad to hear that the patio was killed off, but maybe that will change in coming years.

Hopefully a reasonable bar will help chase away the drug dealers and dudes drinking on the corners.

I’m ok with a sandwich shop that sells beer, but will be a little hard on a beer store that offers sandwiches.

To the contrary, she was one of the few members of ANC 1B who supported it. In her testimony she noted that the place has been vacant for ten years and historically has had a reputation for prostitution and drugs. Her point, with which the board agreed, is that this is a marked improvement.
