901 Restaurant and Bar No Longer Open on Sundays

901 9th St, NW

From their Facebook page:

“Hey Everyone! 901 will be closed every Sunday starting this Sunday. We will miss everyone on Sundays too but it makes the days that we see you just a little more special!”

901 opened up in May 2011. You can see their menu here. Any fans?

Anyone ever been? Was wondering if the beer prices reflect for a pint? Or are they only 12 oz pours or even less? Just curious.

food sucks PERIOD. they change their menu every 2 months to see what works and nothing seems to work. have you seen a lost kid in a zoo thats how i describe them. latest lure for customers ” if u seat on our patio we will buy you free beer” LOL

I disagree! They have an amazing lunch deal, and their scallop risotto with wild mushrooms and bacon jam is amazing. At lunch it’s like $15 with a choice of soup or salad. Once a dude locked his bike to mine (I work in that block), so I had to call my better half to bring herself, the kids and the car to get dinner in the hopes it would be unlocked afterward. We were stunned at how much we enjoyed the food, the beer, and service (even with two toddlers), and the cost was right on par with an evening at Loriol (but better). Of course, kids love the surprise when the menus open…

is this the place that owned by Capitol City Brewing/Vida? If so, then the food prolly does suck back… eck

    • It is. We went once. Food was forgettable, service was eh, price tag was high, and the restaurant was half-dead on a Friday. I have no idea how it stays open.
