If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool (though I prefer email if possible) with your pets name and neighborhood. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

“As I was walking to my car this morning, I came across this little duck family on V and 16th Street NW. They crossed the street safely, but I hope they made it to their final destination safely! My guess is they were headed to Meridian Hill Park.
Wondering if anyone else saw them/escorted them this morning to ease my mind. Wish I would have followed them.”

“This is Oscar, my green-eyed cat, making himself at home on my sofa in Adams Morgan.”

“RIP lil’ Stanley, you had the raddest mohawk in Petworth.”

Don't you have to wait in line just to put your name down, though?
Also, what if I...
I would also go to your councilmember (who is Jim Graham) and explain the situation. They...
So awful, praying that see and the baby are as okay as you can be after being shot
Get rid of this stupid reservation system. Why should a customer have to wait in line...
Stan the man, RIP!
I’m usually a total dog person, but that Monkey is one adorable cat! Great picture.
Agreed! Those big ol’ eyes make her look so sweet.
I think Oscar wants to hypnotize me.
well, he can have that affect on humans… i should know. how do you think he got that fat? he gives me that look every time he wants a treat! jeez…
aw! those little ducks are super adorable. I really hope they made it ok!
Yeah, i saw this cute little family crossing 16th street as well. They made it safely to the east side of 16th but I dont know where they were headed – Meridian Hill Park presumably. I do hope they made it — just not sure how those little babies would be able to navigate the curbs and such.
My tuxedo cat loves that same position that Oscar is in! I love his dainty little white toenails.
Oscar, I wish I was you.
