Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool with your pets name and neighborhood. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

“This is Harry from H Street NE enjoying a good stretch.”

“Tiny is a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell mix. She loves cuddling on the couch with us and walks in the neighborhood. In fact, she pretty much walks us each day and she asks politely when she wants to go out by standing by the front door. We know a little bit about her previous history and this 11 year old has certainly led a tough life so she deserves to be spoiled. She was in an animal testing facility for quite some time, but after it was shut down she went to live with an older lady who absolutely adored her and trained her well. Unfortunately, Tiny’s leg was broken and the lady could not afford to care for her so she had to return to WARL and is now searching for an adoptive parent. She does well in small homes and really likes to chill out on the couch next to you. She’s not too fond of other dogs and would prefer to sit in your lap when they are around, but she seems to like kids. She especially likes riding in the car with the window down and going to brunch with us and friends. She tends to steal all of the attention though. We hope that a PoP reader will fall in love with Tiny and give her a forever home – if not, she may just become ours!

Readers can find more on her HERE, email [email protected] or call WARL at 202 726 2556 ex 503.”

“This is Sadie from Adams Morgan, recovering after a night on 18th Street.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
