Yep, also the incident from Saturday night was a shooting. And a ten-year old got shot in DC over the weekend as well. So much for ‘not shootings.’

Am I nuts or has there been an enormous uptick in stabbings in this city over the last 6 months? Is stabbing people what’s hot in the streets now?
On one hand, stabbings aren’t good for the obvious reasons. On the other hand however, innocent bystanders don’t catch stray stabbings very often, so….. progress?
@Jim_ed – yeah I had the same thought. I wonder if it’s the recession. Guns are pricey even on the street. Maybe if you’re broke you use a kitchen knife instead.
Turns out it was a domestic disturbance
I used to live two doors down a few years ago. Not the least bit surprised. There’s a woman on the block (I don’t know if her home or household are involved in this stabbing), but she has run a prostituition outfit out of her home for years. She has a history of assaulting people when confronted about the noise, trash and loitering of skeezy men in front her house.
