I'm not sure who all these people are who are suggesting to park at DC USA. I just...

Sure, transfer the title, registration, and insurance to someone who doesn't own or drive...
Mat, Thanks again for your support; and your point is well taken.
"Used to live," not "used the live." I hate blackberrys.
I miss hearing the wild cats...
I hate to imagine what my late parents, both Depression-era survivors, would think of gourmet $12 grilled cheese sandwiches. Not the end of the world (I think) but what a gimmick!
Kind of the like the cold cereal bar (restaurant?) that was in CP not long ago…
I was thinking the same thing!
I kind of liked it too, but I guess you and I were in the minority.
They would laugh. A long, hearty, belly-shaking laugh.
It reminds me of Dangerously Delicious Pies. $30 for a pie is laughable. Unfortunately, severely overpriced food has become ingrained in DC’s food culture (for examples, see pickles, cupcakes, Bandolero, and just about every “not really worth it” food truck).
Good gravy – sign me up for the triple bypass, these look too good.
What is “Benton’s Bacon”?
are profit margins that weak right now that we have to resort to gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches for $12???? This is sad. just sad.
Prosciutto is around $20 per pound.
And challerhocker is like $30 a pound, if you can find it.
The abyss of Pop commenter food-ignorance gets deeper. Most of these cheeses retail for $20/$30/lb. That is what quality and limited availability costs. Your green can of “parm” is neither.
That’s why it is especially ridiculous to waste them in a melted goo sandwich. I don’t dump spoonfuls of caviar in my scrambled eggs either.
Actually, that sounds good.
I miss Aroma.
Interesting…love the advice on making your own, “don’t make it gross, stop at 2 cheeses”
Umm…yes! Half price wine and beer…and grilled cheese? I’ll take it. (This is not kraft singles, people.)
kraft singles is not cheese… it’s “cheese product”
The words “Krusty Krab” and “sophisticated” are WAY too close together.
Would still eat any of those sandwiches, but that’s a mighty short happy hour.
Awesome, especially in sleepy Cleveland Park: Available only before you get home or after you go to bed.
Gussied up grilled cheese (like this) is what I make for dinner on a lazy night when I’m too tired to cook.
