By the way, the unofficial name of that garden is Willow Park because there is a willow tree in the garden that was planted in memory of Derrel “Willow” Goins who grew up in the neighborhood and was murdered in December 2008.
Although the ANC initially funded the project, it is now maintained by the neighborhood.

What you have captured is the diversity of Adams Morgan which makes it so remarkably beautiful. It is a neighborhood of stark contrasts, and through that blending, comes magic.
