I asked one of the baristas about the renovations the other week. He said they’re adding a ton of seating upstairs(!), all of which will face the circle. The work is supposed to be completed sometime in June.
I’m excited that they’re stripping the paint from the building to expose the copper. While the awnings kept me dry, as soon as they took them down I noticed how beautiful that building really is.
Did you know this is the most socially exciting Starbucks in all of DC? I love going there to do homework.
