Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool with your pets name and neighborhood. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

This is Princess Fiona of Arlington. She says that “Life is More Fun with Wrinkles”

“Napoleon from DuPont Circle!”

“Cecilia from 16th Street enjoying the afternoon sun.”

  • These three are TOO cute! Napoleon could be brothers with my cat, Liam. Princess Fiona’s look is priceless. :-)

  • where else was napoleon to go?
    <3 the baby bulldog!

  • What is it with cats and sinks? One of mine loves to chill in the sink.

  • Adorable. All three. :)

  • Arlington?

Who let the bridge and tunnel crowd into AAF?

Stay on your side of the river Wrinkles!!

    • Some of us Arlingtonians dream of living in DC but are unable for many reasons, none – or at least not all – of which are anyone’s business. Personally I enjoy reading/contributing my comments to PoP because I gain valuable insight into what my neighbors experience, how they like to shop/dine, etc. because thanks to work I spend more time in the city than home.

      • Maybe CJ was joking but there’s nothing wrong with Arlington/Alexandria. I think it’s obvious that even if you do not live in the District you can still be a fine contributing member of PoP. Many of those living in NoVa do work and play in DC, so it makes sense to be readers/contributors of PoP.

Florista, your Princess amuses me (wrinkles and all).

Cecilia, if I were basking in the ideal slice of sun, I would be purring, too.

P.S. , I love the elephants on Cecilia’s box. Heh

        • Thank you, Classic_six – I should have mentioned perhaps the poster was joking, because that was what first crossed my mind! However, I cannot take credit for the fabulosity that is Fiona of Arlington – though I’d adopt her in a minute if it was possible!! Owner must be so very proud.

          • I don’t understand when people talk about Arlington/Alexandria as if it were some horrendous place on earth. I get that it’s not exactly like stepping outside of your home, say in DC, and having lots of things (shops, bars, restaurants, etc.) at arm’s length but it’s hardly a war zone. I don’t know – maybe that NoVa/DC dynamic is similar to that DC/NYC dynamic that thrives like a plague at given times.

I love the spotted design on Fiona’s underside – really interesting. I wonder if that breed of dog typically has spots as does Fiona.

  • Napoleon, it is hard to look imperial when you are lounging in a sink with a tube of Colgate a paw swipe away.

All 3 are so adorable! I can’t pick a favorite today!

  • I am proud to say that I have personally kitten-sat Napoleon. He and I are very close.

  • Aww Princess Fiona!

  • These animals are all so amazing. Fiona’s “eat your heart out” face, Napoleon’s “I’m going to cut you” face, and Cecilia’s talent at sleeping – yay!

  • What a great way to start a Friday. Three adorable animal friends. Thanks POP!

  • Next time, you might want to wash your bathroom before posting a picture of it. Ick!
