Wow – it’s cute but really small. Fifteen hundred seems like a lot, though.

  • This looks so weirdly shaped with acute angles and all. The place I’m moving out of has a bit of a weird shape, and makes positioning furniture a bit more challenging. I can’t imagine using space efficiently in this little place with odd angles.

  • Not a good deal. It’s cute and the outdoor space is sweet, but 322 square feet for $1500 + utilities/month is crazy expensive. You can find a bigger studio for that price (or cheaper) in this area.

Wow, tiny. They should consider installing a murphy bed in there.

Chatel real estate is a horrid management company, FYI. not as bad as Borger, but damn close.

    And that place is tiny.

Not a great deal, but only slightly. Across the bridge in Woodley Park, I am paying $1450 for a good-sized studio in an apartment building, utilities included, and parking. No dishwasher, but whatever.

I am not generally a size queen but that is too small. If DC had a more temperate climate the great deck might make up for the small living space, but as it is, no. In my building, much larger studios (without decks) are now going for the same price or a little less, so… not a good deal at all.

The studio by itself would probably command $1200 pretty easily in this neighborhood so the question is really whether that deck is work $300.

WOW! If that is the “living space” then that’s on line w/ what I saw in San Fran. CRAZY!!! What is DC turning into??….I think we’re on par w/ NY (and NO NY doesn’t pay anymore in my field) and we’re less expensive than Boston (used to live there, monitor rental market for fun) and SF haven’t been keeping track, but seems pretty close! NUTS!
