love it
Beautiful! Too rich for my blood, but I wish I could.
Why a picture of the bridge instead of the second bedroom?
WANT.
hmm, looks nice, but for that price I’d expect updated floors (ugh, parquet) and at least space to put a full size kitchen table. for over 3k/mo you can get a 2br in a much nicer/newer or renovated place.
Not in a neighborhood comparable to Woodley Park.
Not comparable to Woodley Park? There are plenty of neighborhoods that are loud and and crawling with annoying tourists and/or convention-goers.
(first of all, the leopard print comforter cracks me up!) The apartment building next to this one charges $2800-3000/month for 2BRs and while the kitchens/baths/views aren’t as nice as this place, my friend’s apt does have its’ own private balcony. So this might be a good deal for the right person (hooray for pet-friendly!), but since there are nearly as good options for slightly cheaper rent available, I would call it an fine-but-not-great deal.
I say good deal. Buddy of mine lives just south of Admo, and pays $2800 for a 2br that isn’t as nice as this one, and is further from metro.
If this really has granite? This may be a great deal.
Be warned, I used to live in the building and there a TON of rules. Renters are second-class citizens and are basically not allowed to do anything. Move in and move out fees are outrageous and you can only move on weekdays during business hours so you have take time off of work. Fab location though, steps from the metro and half a block from the entrance to RCP which means you are never battling city traffic to get out of town.
