This is good news. I've been living in the Takoma/Brightwood neighborhood for 6 years...
Assuming that house would sell for around 800k, the monthly payments (with tax and insurance) would be a little over $4000. With that in mind, i’d say that rent is in the right ballpark.
On a side note, it’s just a few blocks on Northampton from where i grew up!
