  • I was thinking of moving to this neighborhood to save some money … too bad this isn’t a 1BR. Is the neighborhood safe????

    • Safe is relative. It’s safer than Trinidad and less safe than Georgetown. Florida Avenue is rapidly improving, but I’d still avoid the corner with North Capitol at night. All in all, if you’ve got enough sense to live safely in a city, then you’ll probably be fine in this neighborhood.

  • Seems pretty good to me, although only for people who aren’t too sensitive to noise (and don’t mind those weird wavy mirrors…).

C – I live in the neighborhood and like it, and I’m someone who was somewhat nervous about safety in DC when I moved here. Agree with anonymous about being judicious about North Cap at night, though.

  • My roommate and I went to see this one during our search because it seemed like a great deal. From what we understood, the owner of the building is running his insurance agency out of the actual living room (that’s why you have a joined living/dining space) and would have full access to your living space as there was no door in between his office and your “apartment.”

  • Wow, I paid this for a 2 bedroom in Logan Circle in 2006!
