Steps from METRO? Those are some big steps. It’s 7/10ths of a mile to Friendships Heights and 8/10ths of a mile to Van Ness.

The rent is too damned high!
I used to live on Davenport St. not far from this address on the other side of Connecticut Ave. and my daughter had a friend who lived in this group of rowhouses. They are small but nice inside and the neighborhood is quite nice and tranquil: Politics and Prose across the street along with some restaurants and very good public schools. But you do have to drive almost everywhere or take a bus; it’s a pretty long walk to Van Ness or Tenleytown metro stops and that area isn’t called Forest HILLS for nothing.
I would not call a 13-minute walk (the time Google Maps says it takes to walk to the Tenleytown Metro) a long walk.
Sure. But I also wouldn’t call walking almost a mile “steps.”
Very nice neighborhood, probably a good price for that many bedrooms, but it’s definitely not close to Metro.

I hate listings when I can’t see the kitchen or bathrooms. It should be a requirement. What are they hiding?
my wife makes this walk to and frorm tenley metro everyday…I’d think it’s pretty close for anyone who doesn’t live on top of a metro station.
