Sweet City Ride

I ran into the owner of this car who told me it is a 1975 BMW 3.0 csi. The last year it was made. So sweet.

  • If I had a million dollars I’d drive around a CSL with the wing and everything. I have the same steering wheel in my 2002 and it looks like the seats are the same as an 02. I can’t place the wheels though they look like e46 wheels but I don’t think they are. euro 5 series? sweet car though.

  • Great old Bimmer from their classic days. Would like to see what the brake calipers have been upgraded to. Of course I am wondering about the rest of the suspension upgrades. Hmmm.

I think the % series wheels detract from the look.

  • the original wheels would of won no beauty contest. It would be easy to throw a set of BBS on there and call it a day. I kinda like them and I think they fit well.

  • Very sweet ride. I owned a ’72 3.0 cs and LOVED that car. I bought it around 1999 sight unseen from a guy in Colorado and drove it to DC in the middle of winter…it was so much fun to drive. The only downside was being stopped (twice) by cops who just wanted to know what it was!

  • BMWs of the 70’s and 80’s were so much more interesting than the dull crap they build today. They really used to over-engineer the tiniest parts in those cars. Which often made them heavier, more complicated and way more expensive than they needed to be, but damn, they were cool cars!
